Food options at Jungle Mini Golf in Leicester

If you are interested in eating at Treetop Adventure Golf Leicester, then you will be pleased to know there is a bar and a restaurant. It is not huge and so if you are intending on eating it maybe worth trying to book a table. The Thirsty Toucan Bar sells a variety of tropical cocktails along with soft drinks. And the Jungle Buzz Café offers a selection of hot drinks in your favourite flavours. For some tasty jungle grub head to the nearby Pizza Cabana. Handmade pizzas are made to order. It has a nice atmosphere and I can imagine is a popular hang-out for those looking for good times with a background buzz and subdued lighting. All eateries are kept within the tropical themes.

What to expect when visiting

Treetop Adventure Golf Leicester is located inside and there are two different courses in this epic mini golf adventure. The Ancient Explorer trail takes you deep into the ancient Aztec. The holes are designed to with cryptic carvings and appropriate theming throughout. Including an inner temple – just pay attention to ancient spirits and their advice! It is well done and of good quality with clearly numbered holes and smooth greens. As you work your way around the treetop tour guides will visit to see if you have scored any hole-in-one. Handing out stickers to those who have been successful. Both boys managed at least one hole-in-one. I much prefer courses which are not ridiculously hard as it makes playing with children so much easier.

The second course is based on a tropical trail adventure. The holes are themed with colourful creatures and the magic of the Amazon rainforest. Although the actual holes are the same as the Ancient Explorer course. Only this time you come across singing barbershop frogs, chattering toucans and the mystic woods with a talking tree. My favourite part was meeting the

residents of Birdie Boulevard. As you make your way around the tropical mini golf jungle the acoustic music is a nice touch. Although I think I preferred the Ancient Explorer course. But that could be because we did that one first and so all the holes were new.

Regardless of the course which you do, there is a bonus 19th hole at the end. This is where you have a chance to shoot your ball into the hole at the top to win a free game. Although we did not manage it, we saw several people have a go and succeed. If you do both courses as we did then you can have a go after each even though you do not have your ball returned. For the next course, all you need to do is show your receipt to the desk to collect another ball each.

Top tips for a trip to the Adventure Treetop Golf in Leicester

This is the perfect course for mini golfers, part of a chain we had previously visited in Birmingham so we knew what to expect. However, if you are planning a visit then here are some tips to help make the most of your game.

  • It is popular during the school holidays, so if you are looking for a calmer game head there early in the morning. We found that by lunchtime it was a lot busier and had to wait longer for holes to free up. If you are looking for quiet sessions then I would go when they open.
  • They have a no-booking policy for the mini golf so expect to queue during busy times.
  • Lockers are available and take only coins (£1) or some tokens which you can get at the check-in desk.
  • The team members are really friendly and helpful and will tell you the cheapest way to go round the course. For us, it was buying a family ticket.
  • A the end next to the 19th hole there is a photo booth. If you want some free photobooth souvenirs then I would head there early as it was very popular when we visited.
  • It took us around two and a half hours to do both courses. We arrived at 11 am on a Sunday.

We had a great time on our 18-hole mini golf adventure (36 in total). It is suitable for the entire family and the holes are easy enough to enjoy without the kids getting upset. It is extremely well-priced if you get an early bird discount. For further information visit their website.
